The Ministry of Energy and 19 organizations, including hydrogen energy association, have signed an agreement on the establishment of a hydrogen platform in Lithuania. The signatories have agreed to cooperate in the creation and development of hydrogen technologies, which will be crucial for achieving national and European energy and climate targets.

“One of the EU main aim in energy sector is to became a climate-neutral continent by 2050 with net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. In order to reach such a huge goal, it is necessary that all the EU countries would contribute to the creation of clean and sustainable energy sector. By initiative of Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania hydrogen platform was launched, which consolidate all the hydrogen energy interested parts in Lithuania. I believe, this will help us to reach a big aim in hydrogen energy sector in Lithuania”, said head of hydrogen energy association, dr. Sarunas Varnagiris.
